Hey cool. That tip about pouring salt on a dropped raw egg? Works.

I bobbled an egg while making food for Sam. I poured a mountain of salt on it (eh, probably a cup) and let it sit for a few minutes. I was able to scoop the majority of it up with no problems and swept the rest.

I'm just glad I was able to easily find my canister of regular salt. I'm not sure how well kosher salt would have worked, and I don't think I'd have had the patience to grind a mountain of sea salt onto it. *grin*

I like the Wonderpets. I really do. It's a sweet, interesting show with lots of nifty music.

What I don't like is having the song stuck in my head. *sigh* (What's gonna work? Teaaaaaaaaamwork.)

But, it's better than the earworm from the weekend, which was Somewhere Out There, from An American Tail. The version with the baby mice singing it. *OY*. And I haven't seen that movie in years upon years.

Last week I had a sort-of depressive episode. It wasn't me being so down I couldn't get out of bed. And it was my own fault. We ran out of Pepsi and I was waiting for my new coffee grinder (one that grinds all the beans at once for a pot, rather than having to do three grindings), so I didn't feel like making coffee. And thus I went cold-turkey without really realizing it. I didn't realize how important it was for me. Till I started feeling better and trying to pick up all the things I'd let drop. Woo, fun.

But I'm feeling *much* better now. *grin*

I love the salt/egg trick.

Wait til you see the episode of Wonderpets where the beagle puppy has to go pee. THAT is a song that gets stuck in your head. And the one from the cow episode.

Dammit.
