Roger Ebert has written a rice cooker cookbook. Very interesting.
Once I have the book, all I need is a rice cooker. I had one that I loved, but it died and it was more of a general steamer. Then I had one that spit all over the place, which was rawther inconvenient. But, one day, I'll have one that isn't dead or spitty. Or I'll finally learn to make good rice in a pot on the stove *every* time rather that the good rice being a surprise.

For this reason, we'll be modifying the comment cross-posting portion of the Facebook and Twitter Connect feature so only comments on public entries (those marked 'Everyone') can be cross-posted. Once we implement this change, it will no longer be possible to cross-post screened comments or comments left on Friends Only entries. "
So, that's good.
They shouldn't have originally implemented this without limiting it to unlocked entries, I'd still like the ability to turn it off completely if I wish *AND* the massive communication issues still stand.
But yeah. Good.

Today is Jeff and my twelfth relationship anniversary/eleventh wedding anniversary. If I listed all the ways he makes my life better, makes me happy and how very good he is for me, I just might fill up the internets.
I have several regrets in my life...moving three thousand miles to be with
darthgeek has never and will never be one of them.
Happy anniversary, love.

The trick I picked up? Make it like Rice-a-Roni. Couple-three tablespoons of butter/margarine/oil in the bottom of the pan, sautee the rice first until most of it has puffed slightly, THEN add the water and boil.

Also, that otter doesn't look so much happy to see me as he seems more like he would be happy to eat my face.

The Disney Superheroes are surpringly less scantily-clad than I anticipated. I could almost get behind this.
Happy Anniversary. =)
