(no subject)

I've backed a few kickstarter projects now. I mainly back what I want to see/read/experience.

There's a documentary I've been hearing about for a while, about Caroll Spinney and his work on Sesame Street. They ran into some funding problems are are running a kickstarter. I *really* hope it gets funded,'cause I very much want to see this documentary.

It took all my willpower not to go for the $25 level out of the gate. G_d knows I want to, but I goofed with the bills and I'm playing a desperate game of catch-up so things don't get shut off while I'm in the desert. I have every intention of coming back to up my pledge if I can.

The nice thing about Kickstarter is that, truthfully or illusively, they have made donating a handful of dollars feel like it might do some good.
