So, I ordered Spirits In The Wires, the latest Charles DeLint book, to read in airports/on the planes/on vacation in general. I've been *quite* good and only read a bit of the dust cover. I stuck it in the little chair with a pile of magazines and catalogs, hoping I'd forget. Which, obviously I haven't. But, I'm being strong and resisting well.
But I don't waaaaaaaana!

zjande, I use the paper cd cases to send/give people burned cds. If I had better control over the desk clutter, I'd probably also use them for *my* burned cds...but...I don't.:)

I know I saw the link for Dancing Goddess Dolls somewhere on LJ, but I can't for the life of me remember *where*...so, if you're reading this and going "Hey! She got it from me!", I'm sorry...I'm not being a jerk...just forgetful.
Anyway, I can't decide if I want to buy them or make them. I'll probably end up buying Gaia, Yemaya or Luna and then make my own from there.

o/~I get my camera tomorrrrrow, I get my camera tomorrow~\o
I ordered it from Ritz Camera a couplethree weeks ago, and heard nothing beyond the "Thanks for shopping with us" note I got right after the order went through. So, I wrote and asked if it had shipped yet. They said they'd had a problem charging my card (which must have been a glitch somewhere along the line, 'cause the money was definitely there)...and apparently, the policy when something like that happens is to do absolutely nothing until someone asks if there's a problem.
So, instead of reordering, I requested that they cancel the order and remove my information from their system.
I'm going to get it tomorrow, at Best Buy, which is probably what I should have done in the beginning. (I've had really good luck there, especially when it comes to exchanges.) I'm probably still going to get the Nikon Coolpix 2100, but whatever I get, I've got to go with something that takes compact flash cards, 'cause the same day I though I'd bought the camera, I bought a 128mb card from a site based in Hong Kong, and *they* were able to put the transaction through with no problem. Luckily, the majority of cameras I've looked at *do* take them, so if I do decide on a different camera, it shouldn't be a problem.
But, the main point is, I'm getting my camera, I'm getting my camera. (I've only wanted a digital camera for five years now...:)

Sam's melting down and we've got a load of things to do later, so, we're off to sleep for a few hours. Hope y'all have wonderful days.

I usually put birthday/anniversary wishes in their own posts, but I don't know how crazy tomorrow will be and I don't want to miss out on these.
