BASICS

Single? I contain multitudes. Oh, and I've been married for four and a half years.

Age you wish you were? This one's good.

The color of your eyes? Varies by day, light and health, but usually sort of a greeny-blue.

Do you speak another language? I know lots of words in other languages and I can even carry out simple conversations sometimes, but I don't know enough of anything to consider myself speaking it.

Do you have a webpage? Yes. It's just pictures right now, but I hope to do something else with it one day.

DEEP THOUGHTS about life and you in it

Do you consider yourself tolerant of others? I do my level best and I think I do pretty well. Unless someone's preaching hate. Then I get downright pissy.

Do you hate yourself? Incredibly, no. I've finally come to a place where I like and love myself most of the time. It's nice.

Do you like your handwriting? Yes. I can write very pretty cursive if I work at it, readable cursive if I pay attention and stuff only I can (usually) make out if I just write. This is why I usually print...I like the way that looks too. (I've spent years lettering and a *lot* of that has seeped into my penmanship.)

Do you have any bad habits? Of course. I'd be horrifically insufferable if I didn't.

What is the compliment you get most from people? Either that I'm funny or really nice.

Are you a loner? Very much so.

If you were another person, would you be friends with you? I have absolutely no idea.

Is there anything you fear or hate about yourself? That I'm going to let everything pass me by.

Have you got a journal? Many. This one is the place I remember to write most often, but I really *like* paper journals and have really great luck finding them on sale.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Hermiting.

There are three wells, love, beauty and creativity. Which do you drink from? Is there a particular reason I'd limit myself to one?

Okay, fine. Let's pretend that each is an antidote for the other two. I don't think I'd be pleased if the way I looked suddenly changed radically and I'm already a bit more creative than is completely healthy. But I've got love all over the place and it's fabulous. If I take a drink from the well of love, it won't be *real* love, will it? I'd like to say I wouldn't drink from any, but if I *didn't* take a nip of creativity, it'd probably drive me crazy forever. So, that one.

How do you vent? If Sam's out of earshot, often loudly. But I've trained myself to treat my typing voice as my real voice and it can often stand in very nicely when audibility is a liability. (Yeah...that's a little too cute. But y'all know what I mean.)

What is the most important lesson you've learned from life? To live it fully, because you never really know when it'll end.

What do you like the most about your body? The things it can create.

Do you think you are good looking? I often think I'm reasonably pretty.

Are you confident? Well, not about everything. But I do pretty well most days.

Are you perceived wrongly? I really don't know.

Smoke? Never regularly, and not any longer.

Do drugs? Haven't in an age or two.

Go to church? No.

Take walks in the rain? Yes. And we splash in the puddles on the way home.

Talk to people even though you hate them? If I have to. I try to be as polite as possible for as long as possible in every situation. But, there really aren't that many people I hate and I doubt I'll ever be in a position to have a discussion with those individuals.

WOULD OR HAVE YOU EVER...

Hurt yourself? I have, I try not to.

Been out of the country? Yes.

Been in love? As often as I can. Sometimes it ends badly, but I believe the positives outweigh the negatives by a ton.

Had a medical emergency? During my mid-childhood (later than early childhood, earlier than adolescence) it seemed I was in the emergency room monthly.

Had a surgery? Had a bone set and many stitches in one of my toes/on that foot, but have never had anything that required me to be put under.

Ran away from home? Yes, with a suitcase and everything. But I wasn't allowed to go out of the yard. Luckily, it was quite a *large* yard...

When I was twelve, I had very serious ideas about running away. But we were living in the suburbs right outside the sticks then, and there was less than no public transportation or taxi service. So, the only way to get out was to steal a car (and while my feet *did* reach the pedals in some situations, there was no way I could have managed driving, if a miracle happened and I managed to steal one) or hitchhike. Luckily I decided not to do that, because I doubt it would have been a good experience.

Gotten beaten up? Yes.

Thought about suicide? Yes. But I won't. Sammy needs me.

Had sex with a stranger? No...I can't trust like that.

Been betrayed? Yes.

Had a dream that kept coming back? I'm not quite sure. I have trouble remembering my dreams.

CLOTHES

Shoe brand? I don't really have a favorite *brand*...though I do have a couple pair of Anarchy Mary Janes and adore them. I like funky but comfortable shoes, and plan to wear my combat boots till they just fall off my feet. As soon as I get them new laces.:)

Cologne/perfume? I've worn Tommy Girl off and on for years...I also like citrus oils (grapefruit, which is surprising for me, 'cause I *hate* the taste) and I plan to pick up some unusual oils next time the opportunity arises, especially cinnamon, which is one of my favorite scents and tastes.

Favourite place to shop? Online.

Favourite article of clothing? I don't really know...I really *like* all my clothes now. If I don't like it, I pull it out of rotation. (It took me a long time to realize that I *could* do that.) I guess my current favorite is my RHCP hoodie.

Are You Trendy? I don't think so. I dip into trends when I see something I like but I don't like it simply because it is a trend.

BELIEFS

Astrology? Sometimes, but not usually.

Magic? Of many kinds.

God? Deities.

Satan? No. Lucifer, maybe.

Ghosts? Yes.

Love at first sight? Adoration at first sight. I think love takes longer. But definitely *something* at first sight.

Believe it's possible to remain faithful forever? Yes, but I don't think it's necessarily necessary.

Believe there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Metaphorically? Sure, why not?

AMIGOS

Do you have any gay/lesbian friends? Of course.

Who is your best friend? I don't really have a hierarchy like that. My friends are my friends are my family are my companions are people who delight me are people I'd go through hell for. That's all.

Who's the one person that knows most about you? Probably darthgeek, though Veronika knows a piece of me he probably doesn't...then again...maybe I should just say "Yeah, probably Jeff" and move on now.:)

Who's your longest known friend? Sharon Bos used to be, but we fell out of touch around the time Sammy was born. So, definitely Veronika. I've known of her since 1988 and we've been friends since...1992.

Last person you talked to online? Mum and Mikeo, so Sammy could thank them for her playhouse.

Who are you on the phone with most? Jeff, 'cause of my phonophobia. I'm trying to overcome that though.

Who listens to your problems? Mostly the people who can read this.

Who do you fight most with? Sammy.

Who's the loudest friend? Probably me. *Grin*

Do you trust others easily? Yes and no. Most people get courtesy trust right off the bat...but real trust takes time.

Do you consider love a mistake? No.

What do you find romantic? Thoughtfulness.

Turn-on? Pretty eyes, gorgeous brains, nice hands, laughter, good conversation, caring. And that look in the eyes of my lover.

Turn-off? Assholisness. Being ignored. Being completely taken for granted (it happens from time to time, but if it always happens, I'm gonna be gone.) Cruelty.

If someone you had no interest in dating expressed interest in dating you, how would you feel? Touched and flattered.

Do you prefer knowing someone before dating them or going "blind"? I've been on blind dates and I hate them completely. I tend to dislike "traditional" dating in the first place. I definitely prefer just hanging out with someone.

Have you ever been romantically attracted to someone physically unattractive? If I'm attracted to someone, I find hym physically attractive.

Do you think the opposite sex finds you good looking? Sure, some.

What is best about the opposite sex?
That is the worst thing about the opposite sex? My brain doesn't work like that. I've been trying to think of a witty comeback or just an answer to both of these, and I can't. The questions are in a language I don't speak.

Do you read porn? Sure. I get bored incredibly quickly if it isn't well written though.

What's the last present someone gave you? Hmm. Oh! dharmamomma sent me a seriously nifty postcard. (Thank you!:)

Do you consider your significant other hot? Very much so.

What would you do if you were walking down the street and saw some hot guy/girl standing on the sidewalk? Um...possibly smile at the person, but mostly keep walking. (What am I supposed to do? Fall at their feet? Messy, inconvenient for both parties and could possibly cause injury.)
