Ya know...she *is* named Sammy for a reason. *Grin*
Well, no. (and yes) I decided I was going to name my first daughter Sammy when I was about eighteen, because I loved Sammy Hagar and *really* liked the idea of a little girl named Sammy. So, about half of each. :)
We started out calling her Sammy, but that quickly became Sam. Though we usually call her 'Mantha (don't know why, it just happened). She, on the other hand, has decided that she wants to be Sammy. (That's how she puts it. "No Mama. I jus' want to be Sammy!") So, we're working on that. I think she wants to be called Sammy because she can *spell* Sammy. Yes, I know, she can spell Sam too. But just *try* telling her that. She just looks at me like I'm nuts...they're two different names, after all.
