I think the Ginko Biloba is working. I'm not stuttering as much and I can remember things
easier. Even if it's a placebo effect, it's working and that's what matters.
~~~
I've almost got a sore throat. It's rough and sort of hurts, but doesn't exactly. Obviously it's time
for lots of tea and hoping I don't get sick, 'cause I *hate* summer colds. They seem so
completely unfair.
Finished reading Callahan's Con yesterday. I liked it so much more than Callahan's Key.
I don't want to sound like a snot, but it felt like he was trying again with this one.
One of the main reasons I liked it was because he didn't try to save the damn world again. You
really can only go to the well so many times before you come back with a bucket of mud.
If Key had ended with them finding the compound and setting up the bar, I think it would have
been much better.
This one took me a while to get into, but the meat of the story was quite good, he cleared up a
*Lot* of problems from Key and gave a beloved character a wonderful send off that honest to
ghods brought tears to my eyes. If there is another Callahan's book, I might just buy it in
hardcover. *grin*
~~~
I'm finally reading The Eyre Affair and am finding it *very* interesting so far.
~~~
I would not complain at all if we had some sunny weather. The overcast thing is overdone.
~~~
Hmm...I guess that's it.
