Picked up a twenty episode set of Dragnet...we're pretty sure this is the first television season of the show (it was on radio for ages). It's *very* interesting. I think the tv and radio show overlapped...which would explain why none of the principal actors seem to move their faces when they speak. No real reactions. Actually, they don't move much at *all*. (And Joe grunts a lot. He's never been the most emotional of characters, but this is extreme)

They just found a guy in a back alley, beating his head against a brick wall and apologizing for "Killing that girl". The guy who found him is apparently Joe's partner (they spend a lot of time together, but no one actually told me if he was or not) and is telling him all this. Joe's response? "Uh-huh." A little while later, the probably-partner says "Well, we've probably got the guy who did it (it being the murder of the woman)" Joe says "How's that?" Oh, I dunno, Joe. Maybe he's talking about the head beater confessing guy?! Jeeze. You'd think he'd take notes or something.

But they're good. Fun to watch...not as good as the ones with Harry Morgan, but still worth a watch.

Anyone have any ideas on how to keep track of crayons? Everything I've tried has failed. Sammy goes through crayons like...a duck goes through water. We've got tins, we've got little zipper bags, we've got boxes...there are the packages that are supposed to stay in her backpack...the *only* ones that are still around are the twist up crayons that I make her give back after every use. And while I could be the keeper of the crayons, I'd like something a bit more...practical. I mean, if you have to ask for your art supplies every time you want to make something, it messes with creativity and spontinaity. I'll go that route if I have to, but I'd like something...different.

Maybe I can put each crayon on a little chain, like at the bank.;)

A small list of stuff that you may, or may not, know about me.

1. Joe Vs. The Volcano is in my top ten of favorite movies of all time.
2. I really hate repeating myself.
3. I really love intricate patterns.
4. Not in my clothes though.
5. Unless it's black on black. Still depends on the pattern though.
6. I like playing with words, colors, perceptions and expectations.
7. Sammy likes reading the phone book. She makes up stories using the pictures from the ads too.
8. Though, that wasn't actually about me.
