*sigh* Perhaps I'm not meant to knit. I'm having problems with *casting on*. That's the very first step! I'll probably figure it out, but this was far easier a zillion years ago when my Nan (that's her in my icon) was showing me how. I used to knit...I was bad at knitting with yarn, but did some cool things with very very thin ribbon. But now I can't remember how at all. *frustrated* Will get it eventually. It'll be one of those things that just *clicks* and then I'll be on my way. The journey to the click can suck though.

Had a relaxing weekend. Didn't do much but hang out together, but we needed that. And I made Tetrazinni for dinner last night, which always gets rave reviews.:) Jeff's said it's his favorite dinner...I love that something I make is his favorite.

Stupid headaches again. I definitely need different pillows. *sigh* I'm rawther tired of this. Maybe this time I'll get the correct configuration.

Jeff's working in the day and coming home at night has been a great success. Sammy can't get over it...she's surprised every time she wakes up and he's not here and is completely overjoyed every time he comes home...she runs down the hallway, squealing "Daddy, Daddy! DADDY'S HOME!" It's fun. :)

Maryland has covered bridges! I had no idea. We're going to look for some next weekend...I'll be taking my camera and plenty of batteries. I love stuff like that. Maybe we can find a roadside stand selling apple and pumpkins too.

We watched Torch Song Trilogy last night and now I must watch it again with Harvey's commentary. 'Cause, you know, I love him.
