I would say I have a summer cold, but summer doesn't seem to be coming to our corner of the planet.

Jeff's going out before work and picking me up lotioned tissues, cold medicine (I've got allergy pills, but they don't help with everything of course) and probably some sort of soup.

I'm going to sit here, try to interact as much as possible with Sam (if she's going to get it, its probably already percolating) and try to figure out why the 'puter won't recognize the new hard drive. And be very grateful that I don't have to get up very often, 'cause that makes my head fall off.

Sam, on the other hand, is doing fabulously. We finally got her the easel at Ikea, with the big roll of paper, and she's having the time of her life. She's started to draw recognizable figures, with heads, arms, legs and *Feet*. I am highly impressed. :)

Off to make more tea.
