Slept, still cranky but not as cranky. And I have ice cream, so that makes things a bit better.:)

Just got mail from my mum.

Julia Child died.

Poop.

She had a good run (and really, how many people have their kitchens installed in the Smithsonian?:) but still...poop.

My Nan and I used to watch her...I think hers may have been the first cooking show I was exposed to. It was great. And I learned how to make good crepes using her cookbook...and the *best* sauces.
