Aug. 23rd, 2004 07:21 amI don't know if I'm depressed or if I really have nothing to write about.
I'm trying to find time to finish my latest pillow top...for some reason, it seems harder to find time to sew than it does to find time for paper crafts. I've got to pick up a rotary cutter, flat ruler and mat this weekend, 'cause I can't cut a straight line to save my life. I don't really know why I expected that I could...I can't draw a straight line without help after all. So, the first top isn't actually finished, but it is done wrt my current skill set.
Ikea has cheap pillows for three dollars each (or was it 3.99? I can't remember) which is, I think, quite a good price. But I'm going to see if I can find a cheaper source of stuffing...I've tried using thrift store pillows before, but those have to be washed and I don't have a good record with that...the stuffing usually bunches up, even if I put a big shoe in with the pillow/s.
Sammy's watching High-5...I have a feeling I'd get more of it if I were high...or four. Which is kind of the same thing. *Grin*
She's been talking about updating her journal for days, but we've never been at the computer at the same time. So, probably today.:)
