Guess what I did last night?

Slept.

No really, I did. I had a big long nap that started in the afternoon, then Jeff came to bed and we talked for a long time, then he went to sleep and I read for a while, then I went back to sleep. I woke a little when he got up for work (that's one of the dangerous times for me wrt not getting back to sleep), but successfully went back to sleep till tne something. It was *great*. I don't feel mostly dead or *anything*. Amazing. *grin*

Sammy is convinced that the woman who plays Loonette on Big Comfy Couch is different, because she has different hair and sounds different. I told her that it was an early episode, the hair is a wig and the reason she sounds different is because she's younger, but the kid isn't buying it. She thinks there's something weird going on.

My new computer chair is here. Yay! Now I don't have to worry that my old one (which has been falling apart in bits and pieces for...at least a year now) is going to die.

Now to build it. I have no fear. My purple leatherman and I can do *anything*. And the first thing we need to do is open the box.

The chair is comfy. It's going to take some getting used to, sitting in a chair with *both* arms attached and absolutely nothing falling off, but I think I'll be able to deal. :)

In other news, there isn't very much news. It rained for about five minutes last night. I don't know why it bothered.;)

I joined a mailing list about eating from the freezer (ie cooking a bunch of things in one day, and then only having to heat things up for a week or month, depending on the size of one's freezer)(Sometimes, size does matter...) called Frozen Assets. And I keep reading it as "Frozen Asshats". I hope that'll go away, but knowing my twisty brain, it probably won't.

I was poking about Amazon and found Hippolyta and the Curse of the Amazons by Jane Yolen & Robert J. Harris, which sounds very interesting.

Even more interesting is that this particular edition isn't slated to be released until November 30, 2019.

This is what I call planning ahead.
