Raining today. At least it's a good reason for the sky not to be on. Theoretical snow forecasted in the next few days, but only a thirty percent chance. Which means there's a seventy percent chance it won't. (I'll bet you smart people figured that one out on your own. :)

I know the child is bummed because her dad went back to work and her grandparents went back to California. I'm bummed about the same things. But making *my* life miserable is not going to solve any of these problems!

I told her that, but I don't think she believed me. She did run up to her room in a huff though...which means I'm by myself. Might not be everything I wanted, but I'll take it with thanks.
