It is currently 71 degrees outside and we have many, many windows open. It's absolutely lovely.

There's a chance of *snow* on Thursday and Friday.

Sammy says the weather is being mean.

Why do I not think this is really a board book?

Bottlecap Pin Cushions. I adore this idea. I think I'll end up adding pennies or washers to the cap, so it won't be so apt to fall over. Probably pennies...I've got a bunch of pennies...I have *maybe* one washer that isn't currently doing washerly duty.

Wild! Check this out. Hummingbird migration maps. Sam's been talking about hummingbirds for a while now, and would *love* to see one in the flesh (and feathers). I'm sure she saw them when we were in California, but that was a few years ago.

But, the chances of her seeing them from home is slim. They seem to go right around West Virginia. Too too odd.

Today's one of those geeky days I love...4-3-7. Four plus three equals seven. And if you do it the other way, it still works, 'cause three plus four also equal seven. *grin*

Which means it happened last month too...but I didn't notice then. I wonder if I'll notice on May second. And June first. *grin*

Just about everyone knows that Ken Jennings (the guy that won all that money on Jeopardy) is smart and something of an encyclopedia of trivia, but he's funny as all hell too. So, now you know three things about him.

I don't know if this is a spring thing or what but I'm aching to create. I need to finish up the two embroidered frames I've got in hoops and paint the small wooden shelves I just refound for Sam's room and make lots of jewelry and work with my poly-clay and maybe try drawing again and work on Sam's nightgowns and just Make Stuff. 'Cause...that's what I do. Oh, I also need to get moving on that wreath for the front door. Though, I saw a pretty one with fake lavender in a catalog that I might just buy. (*gasp* The very idea!)

If I ever remember to buy screen (regular window-type), I'll bring out my unfinished wooden frames and see about making earring holders. I've had the idea for ages, but never remember the screen. I also need to investigate foam...If I put a piece of firm foam inside the frame, behind the screen, then they could be used for earrings with studs as well as ear-wires. And it'd be self-healing, rather than the styrofoam I imagined for about half a second. But, the bigger reason I rejected it was 'cause of the sound. That squeaky noise makes me want to claw my ears off.

How interesting. I've got Winamp set to random (as it usually is) and it has been playing one song from an artist then two songs from another artist, then a few singles, then a couple doubles and so on. I find it nifty, so I'm not messing with the settings right now. Still...odd.
