(no subject)

Poor darthgeek. He's on vacation this week, but he's also on-call. And yesterday, they called. He worked from late afternoon to the wee hours of the morning. I'm not sure when, 'cause I had to go to bed before he was done. Yes, he gets a vacation day...or a vacation day back, 'cause of all the hours, but it still sucks for him. He did get to watch a few episodes of Emergency from the first season dvds he got for Yule. Still, not quite as much fun as advertised.

I can't believe it's Friday already. How come the weeks with boring stuff happening can't go by this quickly? Yeah, I know, 'cause there's boring stuff happening. This is a whine, not a study in logic. ;)

Yesterday was a craft day. It was acres of fun...I'm not sure we got one thing done, from start to finish, but that wasn't really the point. I did finish a project I've been working on for a while. I'm pretty jazzed about that.

I always mean to keep a list of the books I read throughout the year. I often *start* a list just like that. But I quickly forget it...if I'm still writing titles down in February, it's something of a miracle. So...I read a really, really *lot* of books in 2007, including every Discworld book save The Last Hero 'cause I keep forgetting to buy it.

Oh. My stomach says I need to go find something to eat *right damn now*. So, I shall post and do that. Hope y'all are having good times. I'll do my best to catch all the way up as soon as I can. :)
