We saw Wall-E on Saturday. I cannot praise it enough. It was wonderful from beginning to end. I'm so glad I got to see it on The Big Screen. I'll be thrilled with the dvd, but there are moments that need to be as big as a wall.

I'm so glad to have darthgeek home. After this month and a half of moving and him being in Kansas for Gramps' funeral and then, right at the end, him being in Rhode Island for three days, it feels like we've been apart for weeks. And I gotta tellya, neither of us likes it.

But, we're very shmoopy and together now. It's plain marvelous. I try not to go on about all the shmoopyness, 'cause I'd hate to have to start providing barf bags with my entries, but I think I'm within the recommended daily allowance.;)

Sammy has this habit of telling one of us something, when the other one is around but not in the same room, and then seeking out the other parent and repeating what she just said. She just doesn't believe that we can hear her when she can't see us. She is a wonderfully silly being.

I had this rice cooker/steamer that stopped working. I got a dedicated rice cooker and it was just sucky. I need a good, basic rice cooker, something that will last and *won't* cost a million dollars. Any recommendations?
